Which colors appeal to men & women on websites?
These are some questions we will tackle today.
Let’s dive in.
Do Men & Women Shop Differently?
Short answer – yes men and women do shop differently for gifts. It’s not uncommon to go to a mall and find all seats taken by men of different age groups. What are they doing there?
Waiting patiently for their spouses, sisters, or colleague who have gone shopping at Macy’s, Nordstrom, JC Penney, H&M, or Forever21, just to name a few.
They look bored and would rather be anywhere than there! But they are there to keep their women and lady shoppers happy.

Now, if you were to find any of those women, you’ll find them happy, excited and absolutely loving the experience. How do I know this for sure?
I am one of those women who loves to shop with her husband. On most of our shopping trips, he faithfully stays with me while I touch & feel beautiful clothes and then select maybe 5 out of which I will end up buying one. Sounds, familiar to you?

So, at some stage, he gets tired and decides to sit down while I continue with my shopping for me or gifts for him, family, or colleagues.
There isn’t anything wrong with this behavior. Men & women are different. We are meant to be different so it is natural that we even shop differently.
Is there a study that shows different shopping habits?
There are several studies that show the different shopping habits of men & women.

Different Colors Appeal to Men & Women on Websites?
First of all, the most interesting factor is that blue is the most preferred color for both men and women. Maybe this is obvious as if you ask people their favorite color, many do say blue!
Blue also comes in variety of different shades from turquoise to royal blue through to dark navy. found that it’s associated with clean water, clear skies, authority, truth and tranquility.

Just like favorite colors, men and women have the similar distaste for certain hues.
Regardless of gender, brown, orange, and yellow are at the top of people’s least favorite colors.
